Punta Tuna Wetland Nature Reserve

Punta Tuna Wetland Nature Reserve is a protected area managed by the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources located in Maunabo, on the southeast coast of Puerto Rico. The coastal wetland encompasses mangroves, lagoons, and beaches that provide habitat for waterbirds, sea turtles, and other protected species. The area is adjacent to the historic Punta Tuna Lighthouse and offers opportunities for bird watching and nature appreciation along one of the most pristine stretches of coastline in southeastern Puerto Rico.
