Río Espíritu Santo Nature Reserve

The Río Espíritu Santo Nature Reserve is a protected natural area managed by the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DNER). It is located on the northeastern coast of the island in the municipality of Río Grande, adjacent to El Yunque National Forest. The Río Espíritu Santo is one of the most significant rivers in northeastern Puerto Rico, and its watershed supports a rich diversity of flora and fauna, including endemic species characteristic of the region's tropical moist forests.
