Grab your gear and get ready to swap hiking boots for a fishing pole! This route leaves camp property at Guajataka Scout Reservation and heads to the Guajataca Natural Refuge, managed by the Puerto Rico Department of Natural Resources (DRNA). Once there, DRNA staff give a chat about Lake Guajataca and recreational fishing, and then it's time for the Scouts to cast a line. Between the lake views and the inevitable "the one that got away" stories, this hike is a fun, low-key adventure before heading back to camp.
